VELVET Old Skool Party & Show Delivers a Landmark Night in Romford

Romford became the centre of UK R&B nostalgia tonight as the VELVET Old Skool Party & Show transformed the Mayfair Venue into a vibrant celebration of soul, sensuality, and timeless music.

This annual event—organised in collaboration with Lady TT and Velvet Parties—continues its tradition of bringing established USA artists together with leading UK talent.

A special acknowledgement goes to Port Royal Patties, whose generous sponsorship strengthened a partnership that did not go unnoticed.

With doors opening at 7 PM and the show beginning sharply at 9 PM, the event drew a packed, stylish crowd ready for a night of authentic live performances.

A Star‑Powered Lineup That Delivered

The evening featured a rare combination of iconic artists whose influence shaped an entire generation of R&B lovers.

- Adina Howard commanded the stage with signature confidence, delivering a high‑energy performance that had the audience singing the word‑for‑word.

- Kut Klose brought smooth harmonies and flawless vocal chemistry, reminding fans why they remain one of the most respected R&B groups of their era.

- Horace Brown delivered a charismatic set filled with classics, charm, and crowd‑pleasing grooves.

- Wayne Marshall added a Caribbean-infused edge, lifting the room with his unmistakable sound and stage presence.

- Omar, appearing as a special guest PA, surprised the audience with a polished, soulful performance blending UK flavour with global appeal.

“British R&B artists Terri Walker and Omar are pictured performing together.”

Other talented performers also graced the stage, each contributing to the night’s success and receiving well‑deserved appreciation from the crowd.

The crowd arrived dressed to impress, contributing to an atmosphere that felt both nostalgic and elevated.
Security, staging, lighting, and sound were executed with precision, ensuring a smooth and immersive experience from start to finish.

A Cultural Moment for the Community

Tonight’s event was more than entertainment—it was a cultural reunion.
Fans described the night as “a return to real music,” praising the organisers for curating a lineup that honoured the legacy of R&B and soul while creating a safe, mature, and joyful environment.

The success of the evening reinforces Romford’s growing reputation as a destination for high‑quality, legacy‑driven entertainment.
