JukeBox PR, the team behind Reggae Land Festival 2023, organized City Splash 2023 Reggae Land 2023, which took place in Milton Keynes over the weekend held at the iconic National Bawl ,was a successful event.
The event attracted a diverse crowd of reggae enthusiasts and music lovers from all over the country and international.
Despite heavy rain on the first day, festival-goers braved the weather and enjoyed the event.
Some attendees came prepared with wellington boots to combat the mud.
In the past the festival featured a line-up of renowned reggae artists, including Bob Marley's son, Damian Marley, and Grammy-winning artist, Shaggy.
The lineup included popular artists such as Mr Vegas, Beenie Man, and Sean Paul.
Before his performance, Beenie Man even took photos with my promotional backpack, which impressed him due to its electronic features.
On day 2 of the Reggae Land Festival 2023, Mr Vegas performed alongside his solo dancer.
Sean Paul, on the other hand, sang his hit songs with his two backing dancers.
Both artists were accompanied by their live bands and backing singers, adding to the vibrant atmosphere of the festival.
Reggae Land Festival proved to be a peaceful and friendly event. From the moment I arrived, I encountered nothing but friendly individuals.
The VIP area, located inside a large tent, was well-organized and offered separate options for purchasing alcohol and soft drinks.
Notably, the portable toilet area was clearly marked with signage for both men and women, ensuring convenience for all attendees.
The festival also made sure to provide disabled access, allowing wheelchair users to fully participate in the festivities.
Food vendors at Reggae Land Festival did not disappoint. From day 1 to day 2, a variety of freshly made food options were available, satisfying the hunger of festival-goers.
Additionally, it was heart-warming to see parents bringing their children along, creating a family-friendly atmosphere.
A noteworthy occurrence took place on August 6th, 2023,as some festival-goers proudly waved their Jamaica flags to celebrate Jamaica's Independence Day.
This added a sense of cultural pride and unity to the event.
However, it is important to note that due to the festival's popularity, local taxi services, such as Skye Taxi from Milton Keynes, experienced high demand.
As a result, it took a significant amount of time for festival-goers, including myself, to secure a taxi home.
This serves as a testament to the immense popularity and bustling nature of Reggae Land Festival 2023.
Overall, Reggae Land Festival 2023 provided an enjoyable and inclusive experience for all attendees.
With its talented artists, friendly atmosphere, diverse food options, and cultural celebrations, it is a festival worth attending.
The organisers of Reggae Land have begun preparations for the highly anticipated event in 2024.
